We went around 5:30pm on a Monday and had no wait time. The food we ordered came out quickly and delicious. Two of us split the full deluxe pizza and still had some left. Luigi’s is more of your old-fashioned recipes that never disappoints. The portions of the kid’s meal is a very nice size and is very reasonable for the cost.

I was very sad to try this place after being told it was good food I ordered to go because the wait was so long. No where to park. And there's only maybe 20 tables at the most. Very noisy and crowded. My lasagna was burnt while bottom of the plate has to peel off the last layer of lasagna noodle which was sad since the portion of lasagna was very lil compared to the huge glob of sauce to cover up the burnt bottom The raviolis were mainly mush meat if I call it. Meat. Could of been there cheese. Not sure. I ordered meat. The spaghetti and marinara was average with very lol Marina we ordered meatballs to add to it and got one. I mean 1 meatball. Bread was soggy bread with so much butter you could squeeze the butter off the bread. The dressing for the Caesar salad was legitimately good. Just not enough for the amount of lettuce. Very sad for as busy as it was we were hoping for some authentic Italian food. Not burnt lasagna.

Everything on the menu is great. There is only a handful of places to get pastrami in this part of Texas and is hands down the best. Great service, finished dishes don't sit at your table long allowing for a nice post meal conversation under candlelight. The only negative is if you get cold easy, take a sweater or light jacket. Ever since they got the AC replaced, they like to show it off.

My wife and I visited Luigi’s in Midland on a Thursday night after hearing good things from friends. I want to start by saying the staff was genuinely friendly, and our waitress in particular was kind, attentive, and handled an uncomfortable situation with professionalism. Unfortunately, the food and overall quality of the experience fell far short of expectations. I ordered an Italian margarita, which was extremely sweet and noticeably weak. My wife ordered a glass of wine and the outside of the glass was sticky, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness. For dinner, I ordered the cannelloni, but the meat filling tasted old—so much so that I couldn’t continue eating it. I had to send it back, and while the waitress was very understanding, the fact that it tasted that way was unsettling. Wanting to play it safe, I switched to a pizza to go, only to discover that the Italian sausage on it also tasted old. At that point, we were honestly just hoping we wouldn’t get sick. My wife ordered Luigi’s Favorite (spaghetti with meat sauce topped with onions and bell peppers). Nice, local, family owned, Italian restaurant. Very popular so either come right as they open or late or be prepared to wait. They only take reservations for large groups. It is a small restaurant. They have a wine and beer menu. Salads, Soups, Sandwiches, Spaghetti and all kinds of pasta. Thin, crispy crust pizza. Chicken parmesan. Eggplant parmesan. Garlic bread. Desserts. Kids menu. Good service. When the restaurant is crowded, it gets very loud.
